Vertical Limits was developed by Jurriaan van de Beek. As an enthusiast of AER (Amateur Experimental Rocketry) I created this website to document my findings and share them with others around the world.

I’m a member of the Dutch Federation of Rocket Research also known as “NERO”. Some projects on this site are joint NERO projects others are my own. My main focus lies in design, construction and development of experimental rocket motors.

Intimidator 5 – powered by an experimental 5500Ns KNSB candy motor equivalent to a M1240. Peak altitude of 1840m and a maximum velocity of 745km/h.

On this site a wide variety of aspects of AER are shared, differing from motors to rockets. Other subjects like airframe design and general projects have their own links and can be found at the top of this page.

The information provided on this website is a collection of data archived for my personal use.  Use it wisely and don’t endanger yourself or others. Just because some apparatus work well for me, it doesn’t mean they will work for you. Be careful, stay safe.

“In terms of sheer coolness, few things beat rocketry.”
