26.02.2010 – Finished casting the 8 bates grains for the up coming static test.

24.02.2010 – Determined the igniter charge to be: 6,0gr commercial  BP + 6,0gr grinded flare. To be inserted into a latex finger tip and taped to the igniter. DECA, 8 bates grain igniter charge calculator – 24.02.2010 This will bring the chamber up to 60bar. Not taken into account is the fact that it is not a sealed container but the nozzle has a 16mm throat.

20.02.2010 – Static pressure tested the casing to 150% MEOP – 90bar. Every thing held together but some permanent deformation occurred both at the countersunk holes in the casing as well as near the threads in the couplers.
