SLD2025-02 – Friday 19-09-2025, we succesfully flew the NITROCAT rocket, a Half Cat Rocketry Mojave Sphinx clone. Launched on a M1500 nitrousoxide / isopropanol liquid bipropellant rocket engine and reached an apogee of 1.785m. The engine and rocket was made by LD and JVDBE as an introduction into bi liquid rocket engines.

The rocket carried a experimental flight computer and GPS tracker by LD.

Rocket engine, ground support equipent, flight, tracking and recovery all functioned 100% combined with excellent weather making this one of the best launch days..

The SARON launch day was attended by the rocket organizations DARE, NAVRO and NERO. Weather was sunny, 26 degrees with ligth wind from the SE direction. Launch rail was set at 55° azimuth and with an 80° elevation.
